Freedom Rally Day 2

I'm pretty sure you won't find any of these featured in any of the biker movies......

If Batman were a middle-aged biker........

The horror........found in the children's section books while browsing for cheap beer and munchies. Start that brainwashing early!

Ah, tradition. Who the hell came up with the idea pushing around a beer keg with a motorcycle?

Things are a little more crowded Friday...........

Stripper on a bike!

And back the other way..........

Don't like your neighbors? Simply throw your assembled tent on top of your bike trailer and go...

Freedom Rally Day 1.4

Evening approaches, and the effects of too much beer start appearing:

Of I only had $25,000, maybe I could afford one of these:
Nice metric........
If the sun is going down, it must be time to head to the beer barn....
and load up with supplies for watching the band:

Freedom Rally Day 1.2

A selection of bikes, showing creativity of all kinds......

Tradition is a fine thing, serving to bring back memories and provide a reference when one returns from an absence. So I was pleased to see the sign commemorating the V-Rod sacrificed to the creek is still in place after many years:

Of course, as the day progresses, the heat rises and inhibitions driop:

Freedom Rally Day 1.1

More Freedom Rally pics.........

One of the better gyro vendors I've run across:

Of course, if you're going to have a gyro, might as well have something extra to go with it:

Conveniently located right next to the First Aid area, for those who overindulge in one way or another:

The aid station has everything from a first aid ATV to a fully stocked ambulance. By the end of the weekend, all of these had seen a lot of use.

Nothing like an all-terrain transport cart for the back trails:

More pictures tomorrow..............

Freedom Rally Day 1

The next few posts will be a series of images taken over the weekend of the 4th. Above, the road into the ABATE's property.
The bandshell early Thursday. It won't stay this empty for very long.......
One of many customs on hand and ridden in.
Starting the weekend off with the motorized chicken hat.
The vendors area before the crowds arrive.

And the tents start going up.......

more images later, some of which shouldn't be viewed at work.

Interesting color scheme for a Chicom rifle......
