A touch of versed and all is well. Ketamine is being used as a replacement for Haldol, Ativan and Versed due to the fact they take so damn long to work. Has been used successfully in other countries. It's coming. It has been quite useful in excited delirium patients.
It's already here for one of our anesthesia staff........we get some pretty interesting stories out of about a third of them when the come to after it wears off.
Then again, the first time I heard of ketamine was via Hunter Thompson in the '80s, so you know it has to be good.
