Swedish Saturday

Good day to head to the range with a Swedish M96 rifle built in 1900, last fired in the '90s, with ammunition assembled from components purchased and put away about about the same time. Nice change from living in an area where I'd probably be throwing on a set of Carhartts to stay warm while shooting now.

8 inches of snow fell through today, 20+ mph winds and headed to -15 on Monday.

Are you sure you miss Iowa winters?

Not so much. This weekend I wore a light jacket while playing with Enfields at the range. I hear my home territory has been hovering around 0 today. Nope, don't miss the winters.

There are a number of things I do miss, including the general work ethic, punctuality and ability to drive cars without being a hazard. Those I miss a great deal.
