When I was a kid, the night before Christmas was second only to the event itself. The anticipation of longed-for wishes coming true would leave me as wired as a kid fed nothing but sugar and caffeine on an empty stomach. And when those wishes did come true, the entire day was golden. I haven't felt that way in years. Until the last couple of days of the Coakley-Brown Senate race.
Voting happens tomorrow, and it feels like Christmas Eve back in the '70s.
