Glad that you enjoyed it. NC is one of the US BBQ regions, so there's lots of places in the state to visit, if you like the stuff. The NC BBQ Society has a "BBQ Trail" of restaurants that they recommend, and the blogger BBQ Jew makes his home in NC, as well. Of course, Bob Garner is the doyen of NC BBQ.
If you're ever in the Phoenix area, try "Joe's Original BBQ" in the suburb of Gilbert. Best show up early though -- like 5-5:30 p.m. -- because there's always a line.
