Ugly Gun Sunday

Last week, we saw a high-quality Bubba'd Mosin rifle made into pistol. Although the collector in me hates to see non-standard permanent mods to an issue rifle, I thought the execution of the concept was very well done.

That's not the case this week.

Ugly? Yes. Functional? Not without the bolt. However, in this case, I believe its intended purpose required it to work just once. Then, the owner would be in possession of a newer example of the military issue arm of his enemy and could pass this one along to some deserving soul.

Ugly. Ugly. But yes, I see ebd10's point.

But to have done that to a hex receiver was a sin.

cmblake6,

I noticed that too. Shame. Maybe someone could give to the Finns, they used to use the same receivers several times over; wear out the barrels and stocks, slap new on for decades......

Good plan! Wonder if they're still doing the refurbs?

Of course, after having this pistol snap your wrist in half during the firing process, your ability to fire ANY gun afterwards would be in doubt.
