Ugly Gun Sunday

If this doesn't scream "I'm a man of refined taste" the same way a bad toupee and new sportscar shows what a stud a man is, I don't know what does.

I dunno, always kinda wanted a Llama, and this one is so... excrescent in a late 50s - early 60s way... But then I always wanted a "Super Azul".

WTH is that?
A paperweight? I think I had a cap gun that looked like that from Woolworth's when I was a kid, a long time ago!!

Not only is the whole thing tasteless, the finish is really bad. It looks like something some gangsta wannabe would carry to match the grill in his teeth.

Not only is this as tasteless as a blaze-orange thong, it's a Llama -- which means it's made of metal with roughly the tensile strength of cream cheese. Back when I was a gun plumber, I stripped a lot of them -- and on most, the slide-stop crosspin had two dimples where the barrel lugs had been hitting it.

On the plus side, it's so garish that it might blind your opponent before he could a shot off!

I used to have the urge to get one of the Llama .380 copy of the 1911 years ago. Still wouldn't mind, if I could find one at the right price, just for fun.

It does look something like what I used to find at the old Ben Franklin stores for cap guns back in the '70s.

It is pimptastic, in that barrio way.....

Orange thong. That's a concept I'd never thought of. I see Ted Nugent, on stage..... eh, never mind.
