Ugly Gun Sunday

If I recall correctly, this was an artist "making a statement" about gun violence, militarism, yada yada yada.
Odd how political art pointing out society's faults only seems to fluorish in tolerant socities. It's almost as though it's easier to point out faults in places where you won't end up jailed, tortured, or dead. But I'm sure it's just as ethically equivalent pointing out these problems here as trying to do it in N. Korea, China, Saudi Arabia, etc.

I'd pay good money for furniture like that, if for no other reason than telling the artist, "Man, I've been looking everywhere for furniture made of guns! Do you know how much gun nuts would pay for this stuff??"

It is about as polite to ask these artists who their counterparts are in North Korea or Saudi Arabia as it is to ask the "meat is murder" crowd, "so, then, what is abortion?"
