Yeah, right. I've been there, on the deployment side. Yes, it is a burden on the employer. However, it's still in the best interest of the citizens to have soldiers who are not part of the standing army. Long term vets like this lady provide a connection between the general population and the military that contributes to a lessened "us vs them" mentality.
