Always sad to see a great old house allowed to decay like this. This is the style of house I'd have if it were affordable to buy one in livable condition.
About twenty miles east of Lincoln, Nebraska, there's a church near I-80 in essentially the same condition. Along the side of it is written, in big letters, "God is with you." Very beautiful and very sad.
About 200-mile west of Lincoln near Brady NE where the family started is a vacant lot with two houses kinda like that, that my grand-uncle moved overland by flat-bed truck. He "collected" old farm houses to sell/give to poor people - but nobody wanted them...

When he went house hunting, I guess he used the BIG guns...
Plenty of houses like this back where I come from. Why don't you find out who owns this, make an offer?
