One of the simple hazards of being a flatlander. Perhaps that's why I prefer the Army to other services; when danger threatens, at least one can always dig a nice hole to ride it out in.

No results from this particular episode, which is fine by me; last deployment one town in our state was leveled by a tornado. I'll be perfectly happy to never see one up close.

Ahh, this brings back memories from living in North Carolina. I'm still happier now living on a fault line next to an active volcano. :)
I've seen skies like that before, and I don't like what usually comes next.
